CSR POLICY

Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Welcome to Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.

At Kallichoron it is our priority to act responsibly in everything we do. Being a socially responsible hotel, we have adopted a sustainable and responsible approach to integrate economic, social and environmental concerns in our business operations.

Green Engage with us

Taking care of the environment is a structural part of our overall strategy and objections. In our attempt to reduce hotel’s impact on the environment, we have successfully accomplished:

  • Using green supplies.

  • Encouraging waste recycling.

  • Using energy and water efficient equipment.

Our commitment is shown also by the fact that we are the only hotel in Astypalea to be awarded with the Green Key eco-label, the leading standard of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry. Our Working Standards

  • We safeguard the personal data of employees, customers, suppliers and business partners in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We encourage communication and feedback from guests in order to ensure prompt attention to any issues arising.

  • We offer internships to college students in order to motivate and create opportunities for the next generation.

We care

We work hard to make every guest feel welcome and respected, but we also believe that this spirit should be alive in the communities where we work and live. For us, it’s not a way of doing business; it’s part of our culture to act responsibly. Our commitment to the community includes:

  • Room2Give” CSR initiative to support educational needs of Astypalea’s schools and assist with local community projects and cultural activities where possible;

  • Clean Hands” to collect residual soap and after appropriate treatment, distribute to socially vulnerable groups;

  • Food donations to local families in need;

  • Supporting local charities.
