The menus are curated by the famous Greek Chef Alexandros Papandreou and inspired by traditional recipes and Kallichoron’s awarded Grandma’s Breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast to fuel a day full of adventure on Astypalea Island.
Your breakfast can be enjoyed anywhere; take it with you at the beach or excursion of the day or choose to have it at Kallichoron’s Café terrace and enjoy the Astypalean castle view. An Astypalean breakfast delivery service, like no other.
Collect it from our designated pick-up points (Chora, Livadi and Pera Gialos) or from Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel in Chora, at the time you specify and spot our e-bikes when it’s time for delivery!
GRANDMA KNOWS BEST - FRESH LOCAL INGREDIENTS
Seasonal and quality ingredients are used for the basket menus, made daily prior to delivery. That way we can ensure a fresh and memorable Astypalean culinary experience to you.
All cheese is locally produced and made using traditional methods. Our pure thyme honey is supplied by the top beekeepers on the island, whilst our marmalades are home-made, using handpicked fruit from our trees, sugar and lemon juice.
ORDER & DELIVERY
Delivery service runs daily between 09.00 am – 13.00 pm.
Place your order using our designated mobile application by 20.30 pm the previous night and collect your basket, at your preferred time and pick-up point the next day.
DIETARY & NEEDS
We make your basket with love and care, each morning prior to delivery. If you have any special dietary requirements, or food allergies let us know in the relevant notes section when ordering, and we'll endeavour to adjust your menu accordingly. Please note, our kitchen is not nut or gluten-free.
LEAVE NO TRACE
Carefully thought-through, the packaging is designed to minimize impact to the local environment. Using FSC paper for the delivery bags, they are fully recyclable. The food containers and cutlery are made from natural and compostable materials, and we use eco-wheat straws for the drinks.
Please help us reduce waste, by returning any glass jars to our designated bins or handed back to our delivery person - anything reusable is washed and sterilized before being used again or otherwise recycled.
And instead of single-use, consider opting the re-usable coffee cups and water bottles - your coffees are on us if you do so! The choice is given to you when you make your order.
