Order a Grandma's Basket and enjoy a freshly made breakfast at the time of your choosing! With four menus to select from, Astypalean Classic, Restart, Healthy, Pure Garden (Vegan), you're bound to find your perfect basket.
Curated by the famous Greek Chef Alexandros Papandreou and inspired by traditional recipes and Kallichoron’s awarded Grandma’s Breakfast, Kallichoron's breakfast delivery service fuels a day full of adventure on Astypalea Island.
You can order via the mobile app, and pick up your basket from designated pick-up points in Chora, Livadi or Pera Gialos daily between 9am-1pm.
KALLICHORON CAFÉ & WINE BAR
At Kallichoron, we are coffee enthusiasts, and we showcase it every chance we get! In a country like Greece where the expression 'let's go for coffee' is heard more often than 'good morning,' at Kallichoron, we make excellent coffee a daily culture, even on our vacations, in collaboration with Taf Coffee.
Kallichoron Café & Wine Bar is the all-day proposal for relaxation with nice music and a unique view, as well as the must-visit Instagram spot on the island, located in one of the most central points of Chora.
Start your day with freshly brewed Taf Espresso Sustainability Blend of excellent quality at Kallichoron Café or for take-away. And if you bring your own reusable cup, you'll get a discount on the drink of your choice.
Those friends who are not staying at the hotel can enjoy the renowned "Grandma’s Brunch" with many options from the Astypalean culinary tradition, as well as vegan alternatives.
At sunset, you can enjoy your coffee and read your book, combined with our traditional sweets. To end your day, we suggest a glass of wine, chosen from a plethora of labels from small Greek producers. You can even experience a unique tasting experience, exploring the variety of our labels through a wine tasting.
No matter what time you choose to visit us, you'll be greeted by the sweet Casanova the Black Lab, the black Labrador and Chief Fetch Officer of the hotel, in a pet-friendly space where our four-legged friends are also welcome.

In Astypalea you’ll find small coastal slopes, whilst for the more adventurous bigger inclines can be found inland. Whether you are in a competitive or exploration mood, discover Astypalea on your bike with the backdrop of the endless blue of the Aegean. A destination perfectly suited to plenty of pedalling and dips in the sea!
Kallichoron Art Boutique Hotel offers a friendly and comfortable environment for the visitor that wants to get to know Astypalea by bike. It is part of the Bike Friendly Hotels network and aside from the various route suggestions, our offering includes bike and gear hire, expeditions as well as customised programs based on ability.
Through our service Astypalea Bicycle Rentals travelers who love cycling and would like to explore Astypalea in an alternative way can rent Mountain Bikes or e-Bikes. Additionally, in collaboration with Action Tours, we offer the advantage to our guests to choose among a wider selection of premium bicycles, such as city bikes, mountain bikes and e-bikes.
The Lending Library of our hotel stocks cycling routes maps, so you can familiarise yourself with all the cycling trails that the island of Astypalea has to offer. The mountain bike lovers will find the most beautiful desert dirt roads on the Outer Island, on the west side of Astypalea.
